Visit to Harvesters
December 16, 2013In November we visited Harvesters for some hard work! The girls and parents spent hours sorting sweet potatoes for the Harvesters Kansas City Warehouse. Harvesters is a food bank, which is a centralized food collection and distribution facility that provides food and household products to agencies serving people in need.
In FY 2012, Harvesters distributed more than 41 million pounds of food and household products in our 26-county in Missouri and Kansas. To learn more about Harvesters and what you can do to help go to http://www.harvesters.org.
